Heh, six it is then. Arbitrary schmarbitrary. It now displays six full entries, and then four excerpts. I still have some work to do on the excerpt display, so for the time being I just have it linearly instead of floated to the side.

And you don't like "in which"?

Six. I would like to see six posts on the main page.

OK, so that was rather arbitrary, I guess what I'm getting at is this:

I don't know about you, but I skim read quite a few blogs for posts of interest, so the fewer clicks I need to make the happier I am with an interface. Your new one does list the newest posts, but the reader is required to guess which might be of interest from the header and the pithy description, and then click - it kills off my style of blog reading.

I do have the list of ten most recent posts still at the bottom, as well as the RSS feed for entries... how many posts would you like to see on the main page? I can change it to be a few more than one if that would be preferred.

I am noticing a few problems in IE6 while I'm at work, but none of them were an issue on IE6 on my own computer at home. For instance, the smaller headlines for the excerpts don't display at all, nor does the meta information for those excerpts. I'll have to look into it.

"In which..." is going to get annoying fast, and the one post thing is going to make it more hassle to just drop by every once in a while and see what you've said.

Other than my torrent of negativity, yeah, looks good.
