Now, I've read some of Machiavelli's works, particularly The Prince, and really Machiavelli wasn't as bad of a guy as most people make him out to be. Most people, when hearing his name, automatically think of some power-hungry political cut-throat. He really wasn't that brutal. He does recommend being direct and forceful when necessary, but not unconditionally brutal. Meh. In any case, I guess I'm a 73.
